Yesterday we said goodbye to MoalBoal. After our final lunch at Steve's we were picked up by our driver and went off to Oslob. We arrived a couple hours later and spent awhile looking out over the ocean having a beer. With no plans for the day we took a little walk up and down the street, bought some bananas, and took pictures. According to Tripadvisor there are 3 reviewed restaurants in Oslob so we went to the place with 4 reviews, all good. It was about a 15 minute drive and in the end was just a little shack with 2 tables, I got a seafood pizza which I quite enjoyed, mom however ordered grilled sausage with rice and vegetable, she was unimpressed. We got home at 7 with nothing to do, and I had a headache so I went to bed.
So both of us were asleep by 8-9PM but mom was awoken by roosters by 1am. Yeahhhh so there was at least a dozen roosters right next door and they never shut up once they started so mom claims to have gotten no sleep after 1. I woke up a couple times, but never for long. Luckly our ride out to the whale sharks was early at 6am so our early bed wasn't an issue. If you can get past the tourist price gouging it really was amazing, 30 minutes snorkeling in the water with 5+ whale sharks often at or just under the surface. After about 20 minutes mom swallowed some water and we headed back to shore and to our ride back to Cebu. Tonight we are headed to a very nice Korean restaurant.
